Annalise Juncker

Annalise is 51 years years old and was born in Denmark. She has lived in the United Kingdom for thirty years. She qualified as a nurse in Denmark and was a Marie Curie nurse in the UK. She trained as a Reiki practitioner ten years ago and has operated a successful private practice from her home since then. She is also a qualified therapeutic massager and likes to combine both disciplines in her work.

" My aim is to help clients to nurture themselves in a stressful world giving them an opportunity to know how it feels to be restful and calm and teach them to know the difference. I wish to empower them to find their own personal space in their environment. The mind body and spirit work together and I help clients to realise that many of the symptoms they experience are often psychosomatic and related to stress in their lives. I have observed over the years how important touch is. There are many people who find themselves on their own and no longer are able to enjoy human contact. Many suffer from depression and other symptoms. Through my work as a Marie Curie nurse over the years, I have helped many people with enormous stresses that arise from caring for the very ill while holding a job and a family together. In giving them a massage or a Reiki treatment, I have seen them let go and realise that it was possible despite their difficult circumstances."
